Acupuncture Cupping Set Reviews
Hansol Cupping Therapy Equipment Set
The kit arrived very quickly and looks “medical,” all in a nice carrying case (important to me as I will be using the set on my patients in a shared treatment room down the hall from my office). The cups look like glass and are all very clear. The pump is made of plastic, though in the photo it looks like it is made of metal. The magnets do not fit tightly inside the cups, but then a soft fit may equate with less wear. In any case, a sleeve of aluminium tape would resolve such a problem if it arose. I don’t know if the kit will last a long time with the mechanical parts made of plastic, but I’m more than happy with what I got for the price (the mechanical parts of all the other kits at which I looked are also plastic). Not sure if the cups are boilable, but I prefer to clean them with an antiseptic-alcohol solution anyway. A clear user’s guide and treatment chart is included. Best of all the cupping set works very well. Hansol has a good reputation: I can see why. I confidently recommend this product to any colleague for cupping therapy.
After seeing these used on the Olympic athletes, I decided to purchase this item. My husband and I had previously had cupping done with the glass jars and fire. After paying $60 per session, we decided it would be worthwhile to give this a try. We both have had previous auto accidents and have chronic neck, back, and shoulder paid. I researched the areas to cup online, as well as watched you tube videos. What I really like about this set is that you can control the level of suction. It states to use for 5 minutes or less, however, I found for myself that I could go longer. For my husband, 5 minutes was perfect. We both really like the send of relief that we feel after using it. It really helps to relieve the tension and pain in our back, neck, and shoulders.
Kangzhu Biomagnetic Chinese Cupping Therapy Cup
My wife is getting a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, so using cupping was one of the things she was taught. Unfortunately for her, she was taught the “traditional” way with fire and glass cups. This is both inefficient and time-consuming, even if equally effective in the long-term.
As it happens these are very well made, overall. The plastic isn’t thin and there are no sharp edges. The suction gun is a bit tricky to put on and take off, but that’s just practice (and a good, strong hand). One can use these alone (though that’s not recommended), since the included hose allows someone to reach pretty much anywhere they can reach and still apply a therapeutic level of suction. And it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to use them.
This isn’t a toy, for all that it’s almost entirely made of plastic. And when one considers the cost of traditional cups, versus the cost of this, among other considerations of fire hazards, burning someone or other issues involved with the traditional method we all saw in the Karate Kid remake, I’d highly recommend these for anyone who needs this kind of thing.
I don’t give out five star reviews often, but these clean up well, seem sturdy enough, are simple to apply, allow for more suction control than traditional methods and are safer to use, plus they’re comparatively inexpensive. If you have a need for something like this, there is nothing not to love here.
SweLif Acupuncture Cupping Therapy Set
I am an RN, which means I’m usually skeptic about some Eastern medical treatments. But I have to confess, this really helped with my fibromyalgia and muscle spasms. I don’t understand the neuroscience behind sucking up your skin in a container, but it worked better than heat, ice, NSAID’s, or a TENS unit. Just be aware that if used correctly, it WILL leave large red circles that take a few days to disappear (kind of like a bad hickey). It does hurt a little when first applied, but stick with it for the recommended 10 – 15 minutes. Your pain won’t be eliminated right away, but should improve after a few uses. This set wasn’t overly expensive, and thankfully uses a pump instead of the old technique of putting a lit match inside the cup to create suction.
Cupping Therapy Sets Anti Cellulite Cup
This are great quality! I just received them and tried them out last night, I purchased them to help with lymphatic drainage and to reduce cellulite. Paired with a bath oil, I used the larger cup in the shower all over my thighs. It has great suction. I was afraid the rubber would be flimsy and cheap, it is not. they are firm and it does take some pressure to get appropriate suction. but after about 15 mins on each side, I could feel as though I had just had a massage. I am excited for the results.
I have a very tight piriformous muscle and ITBS which have been bothering me very bad for the last 4 months. Not sure how I came across these but decided to try them. I didn’t see anything in the directions about how often to use these so I just used them every night while I watched a TV show before bed for an entire week straight. I found the most tender areas and applied until it didn’t hurt anymore, so about 30 minutes per spot. I am 98% pain free now and am very happy!
18 Cup Household Vacuum Haci Magnetic Therapy Acupressure Suction Cup
This is a great mini cupping set for traveling/transporting! I have been very impressed with the strength of suction with these small cups. All of these cups come with a magnet attached to the inside to assist in moving stagnant chi/blood. I have had no complaints thus far when I’ve used this set with my clients! I recommend this set.
Most of my clients enjoy these bulbs, but a few of them are so sharp I haven’t been able to use them. It would be nice if there was a way to remove the magnet inside and just use the suction cup.
It has no English instructions or information…….it is all written in CHINESE and no instructions how to clean and take care of and how to use it.
