Carpal Tunnel Brace Reviews

Night Wrist Sleep Support Brace

I suffered for many years from a severe case of carpel tunnel syndrome. It probably all began because I work for a commercial designing company, and I spend about 8-10 hours a day doing 3D rendering on the computer, which entails a lot of using the keypad and mouse. I used to wake up in the middle of the night with tingling in my hands and sometimes with severe pain. I spent many restless nights twisting and turning in bed.

I was advised by my Dr. to try wearing a night brace, and desperate to find a solution to the endless pain I stopped into my local pharmacy to pick up a handbrace from a big brand. I wore it for a few weeks and didn’t see any difference, the pain at night was still severe and sleeping at night was almost a thing of the past. Nothing was working until I bought this comfybrace.

After using this brace for one night I realized this was really making a big difference. I right away saw major improvement. After months of not being able to sleep at night I started getting a couple of hours of shut eye in a row!! This was a major breakthrough for me. Now that i’m wearing it for two weeks, night pain is a thing of the past. I thought surgery was my only solution, but maybe this is an easier solution!!!

This comfybrace is made of durable material which makes it very soft yet sturdy and therefore my hands weren’t sweaty from it. Another thing which was very important to me was the super soft and comfortable cushioning beads by the palm. The beads are soft enough that they got molded to the shape of my hand and hold my hand perfectly in that position.

My hands are pretty average size for a man, and this glove fits me perfectly!! This brace is really adjustable so it would probably fit most hand sizes, including pretty slim hands and husky ones too.

This brace is also made of very high quality materials and is stitched together very strongly. I can see that this will really last me a while. You can also see the picture I have attached showing the high quality stitching.

I highly recommend this brace, and it’s definitely worth the money. It’s not worth wasting nights when there is such an easy and affordable solution available.

Mueller Fitted Wrist Brace Green Line

A few years ago when my twins were infants, I kept putting too much stress on my left wrist when I would stand up while holding one of my babies. At first my wrist didn’t bother me too much but it got worse over the years and ibuprofen helped but not enough. My husband suggested I get a wrist brace so I did some research on here and found a couple braces that looked like they would work. I was very tempted to buy the Wellgate for Women brace but my husband and I thought the Mueller brace would be best for me, plus this particular brace is black and I didn’t want a brace that would get dirty easily.

Before I get into my thoughts on this brace, here are some specifications and information taken from the packaging. This brace is made in China from latex free recycled materials and is antimicrobial. The spandex binding is made from 73% recycled materials, the green lining is made of 67% recycled PET bottles (polyethylene terephthalate), and the core is made with non-petroleum based materials. Most of the brace is soft while the core (located on the top and bottom of the brace) is harder so it helps stabilize the wrist. The product care is hand wash cold and line dry/air dry. Do not bleach, iron, dry clean or use fabric softener. This brace is not reversible so you have to make sure you buy a left brace, right brace, or both if needed. This brace comes in two sizes: small/medium (fits wrist circumference of five to eight inches) and large/xlarge (fits wrist circumference of eight to ten inches). The small/medium brace measures up to six-and-a-half inches long at the longest part. The packaging states this brace is FSA eligible.

I’ve had this brace for almost two months and found it to be very helpful with my wrist pain. I don’t have Carpal Tunnel at this point but this brace is supposed to help with that as well as other wrist pain. My wrist has bothered me a couple times, either because of strain or the weather, so I automatically put this brace on and wear it as much as I can and can do most activities while wearing it. I can type on my laptop, although it’s a bit harder but still manageable, play with my kids, pick up the laundry basket, and read. I take it off when I wash my hands or cook but put it back on as soon as possible. At first, I didn’t think I’d be able to wear it at night but it’s surprisingly comfortable! I typically loosen it up a bit when I wear it at night and it’s so comfortable that I hardly notice I’m wearing it. The best part about wearing it at night is that it prevents my wrist from accidentally getting bent into an awkward, painful position so it can heal while I’m sleeping. I have small wrists so I ordered the small/medium size and it fits me perfectly. I also love that I’m able to wear it while still wearing my Fitbit Alta since both are on my left wrist. I’m not able to look at the numbers on my Fitbit but I can take off the brace and check them whenever I need to. I get some indentations on my wrist when I wear both but the Fitbit isn’t painful underneath my brace. This brace is lightweight, breathable and my wrist hasn’t gotten sweaty yet. I also love the liner because the brace doesn’t rub up against my wrist and aggravate my skin.

I’m very pleased so far with my purchase and it has helped me a lot so far! My wrist pain isn’t severe at this point but I am able to manage it by using this brace. It’s extremely comfortable, considering I can sleep with it on, and it isn’t bulky. I am able to do most activities while wearing it and the price made this brace very attractive. It’s made of recycled materials and feels fairly lightweight when I wear it. So far, I’ve been very happy with this brace and would recommend it to anyone who needs a wrist brace! If anything happens that changes my opinion of this brace or I have more information to add, I will update this review.

Gel Carpal Tunnel Wrist Brace

These are WONDERFUL. Normally, I have to reapply bandaids endlessly to protect a wound on my finger because I wash my hands often. It’s incredibly annoying. So when these arrived I put one on my finger and wore it for several hours. Despite washing my hands frequently and doing dishes, not one drop of water got under this thing! And it’s very comfortable to wear. My husband gets cracks on his fingers in the winter. I look forward to him trying these!

These finger protectors work great. I purchased them because the harsh winter dry air really rips up my skin. During my job I am washing my hands every 10-15 minutes. I do try to dry them the best I can and wearing vinyl gloves helps as well. While I am at home I needed a product that would allow me to let them heal. I can wash my hands and the finger cots seal very well. You can cut them to any size that works for you. The only small downfall is they cosmetically stain easily from ink pens, reading newspaper, etc. This does NOT affect the way the product performs. Since they are reusable I hand wash them and turn them inside out to air dry. I will buy these again and recommend them to others.

AidBrace Night Wrist Sleep Support Brace

This is the best night brace ever. I have carpel tunnel. When I sleep almost every night my hands go to sleep and it’s so painful it wakes me up. I’ve had other braces which I used only at night and many times my hands would still go to sleep. I ordered this brace because of the glowing reviews and so glad I did. I ordered it for my right hand and then realized I needed another for my left hand. I received that one today. This is not to be used for daytime as it is too bulky and it covers a good portion of the fingers which makes using your hand cumbersome. It is very comfortable as the steel rod also has a soft cushion that feels kind of like “cushy” beads. I have used the first one for about a week and have not experienced any discomfort at all in my hands at night. If you have carpel tunnel or if your hands tend to wake you because they go to sleep and then wake you up, try these. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

After using the AidBrace for a couple of nights, I do wake up in the morning with less pain. Once I find a comfortable place for my hand at night, I do sleep sound. Discomfort and pain do not wake me in the middle of the night. So far I feel this product has delivered everything it has promised. After having 2 surgeries in the past year, I am trying everything in my power to avoid another one. If this helps me avoid surgery, it will be worth every penny.

JunoSports Adjustable Athletic Wrist Brace Support for Carpal Tunnel

I am an elderly lady with aging joints that have lost some of their cushioning. Lifting heavy items and even just turning my wrists wrong can cause pain. I have a really heavy duty wrist brace that limits too many of my actions, such as typing. These JunoSport wrist braces allow me to do numerous actions without pain. They are so comfortable that I can wear them for long periods. When using them for long periods, they do seem to shift and I readjust them. That only takes a second, just grab the velcro tab and pull back into the place that needs the support the most. I bought the blue and have been very pleased. Just what I needed for a great price.

Good brace for the price, I have used these for a week in the pool for workouts, I have had problems with arthritis making it hard to work out, these help incredibly, they stay snug in the water. Just rinse and let dry. I will be trying these to kayak with and will detail later.
So far I have worn these daily, have slept with them on as well, the stitching is holding up perfectly. Easy to put on, adjust, and take off.
