Leg fins are equipments that exercise the big muscles of the thighs, buttocks and stomach – without straining the feet, ankles and calf muscles. They help rebuilding the muscle tone and strength. Reduce fat. The equipment also helps increase stamina and also improves cardiovascular fitness and capacity. They have to be comfortable, lightweight and streamlined. The feet have to be free for water exercises.

Step aerobics is a form of aerobics that is practiced worldwide by millions of people and all that it requires is a flat surface and an aerobic stepping platform. While the main aim of aerobics is to increase the body’s intake of oxygen, step aerobics helps achieve that goal by offering a more intense workout. It has a low impact, and it doesn’t stress the joints like running or jogging.
A block of wood, a milk crate, or may be a short stool can be all that is required to provide the raised platform. It should be made sure that the platform is sturdy and safe or injury from falling or twisting an ankle could be dangerous. Investing in a good and sturdy platform will limit the chance of injury.
Other equipments needed for step aerobics are simply apt workout attire and a nice pair of sneakers. When choosing sneakers, it should be made sure that they are lightweight and provide with good arch support and also shock absorption. Proper footwear is also important.
